Hi there guys I have a interview over phone at a company in phoenix az but would be based out of Tucson where I live and its a food delivery service called shamrock foods. I had applied for a position driving a box truck and they finally called me asking if I would be interested in setting up phone interview. He told me I would be apart of a 2 year training where I would eventually get my cdl A driving a trailer. Anyone know about the company and what its like to work in the food delivery industry? I Currently have class b cdl so I want to get my class A I heard this company pays very well with great benefits.

You will be gone for 2 years just to get your cdl? Sure you didn't sign up for the army? Lol food service pays really good. Physical work. Hard back breaking work. Make sure you use your legs when you're lifting. With a straight truck you probably be doing lot of downtown city deliveries. Gotta be fast on your feet, they want that truck empty at the end of the day.

A lot of 2 wheel toting. You'll build up super calves. It's fun for a young driver.
