First of all, I have been a pharmacist for the past twelve years and I have hated every minute. The money has been good, but it means little to me. I have considered leaving the profession since the day I started and I've always had an interest in driving trucks. The main deterrents I've found in changing professions have been my parents(no longer an issue) and truck driving forums like this one. So I just want to know how many people out there actually like their job?
Does anyone like their job?

I like my job. Good pay, good equipment, Good home time, good dispatchers. I can see how other drivers could hate their jobs. I've also seen more drivers who hate good heigene more than they hate their jobs.

I like my job. I don't love it. Only job I know that has freedom. No big boss always looking over my shoulder. I make my own decision. I figure out how to fix my equipment. I'm more of a do it myself type of person
duurmandy Thanks this. -
I drive for Walmart and love it. Not your typical driving job though.

I would disagree as a lot of people I work along side love their jobs. Being a PharmD is kind of unique in the medical field. We don't have that "hands on/helping the world be a better place" that physicians experience. On top of that, Pharmacists are not valued in the third world. I have had technicians leave to Mexico to become Pharmacists -
I LOVE you Baby!!
duurmandy, Old MP, CargoWahgo and 1 other person Thank this. -
