Does anyone think Love s is like the Dollar General of truck stops?

ahem... and without having to cheat on their fuel rebates to do it.

 

Love's seems to be the only chain taking the initiative and building truck stops and adding parking spots.

 

And they go after a lot of inept truck stops as well by building at the same exit. I-70 exit 59 in Indiana is a textbook example, that TA there blows

 

Yeah, but so does that Loves...

 

I like the new one in Springfield, OH. Jump right into a fuel lane, in and out quick. Fair amount of parking, an antique mall across the street. Beats the hell out of the wait times at Mooresville, Richmond, Burbank, and Zanesville. Looking forward to the one in Greenup, IL opening so people will stop taking my spot at the Marshall McDonald's

 

We run the same area you and me. The 119 has the open soon banner up and they'll have an IHOP.

I pass thru on 70 all the time and I've been watching that Loves take shape. It is one more place to stop at!!! Greenup, IL has one coming soovas well!

 

Love's intends to open 1 new location almost every week until the end of 2018. By then they will be larger than PFJ.
If T/A doesnt start scrapping the old Union 76 locations, some of which are more than 50 years old they are going to be left in the dust.

 

I saw that Love's has built some new stops on US-54 between Dalhart, TX and Wichita which was desperately needed. Saw a Pilot that I didn't see last time I was through there, also.

 

I hopr they build one around Seattle area.
That ####ty T/A is always packed and half of truck stop is reserved spots.
