That’s a good streak. I’ve had my log inspected twice so far this year, and once last year, at scales and random roadside.

There's one member here, I won't say his name, but he was infamous for making videos with his gopro, who has repeatedly given the impression that if you drive too fast, or drive when you should have been parked, the attorney will try to use a "but for" argument against you. But for the fact the dog dropped deuce, he would have caught the rabbit. But for the fact that this driver drove illegally 2 hours, he never would have been there when my client swerved and hit him because my client was 3 sheets to the wind! Hogwash! It's like you say. Patterns of violations.

 

I heard they track your logs through the vaccine.

 

Not true! The vaccine is a honesty serum that compels your brain to dismiss any thoughts of violating your HOS. In addition, you will feel an overwhelming urge to perform a 100% front to back, top to bottom pre-trip at 0600 every morning whether you're scheduled to work or not.

p.s. I actually suffered one of the minor side effects of the vaccine which is, as we all know, to add a note to each duty status change that says "I certify this duty status change is true and correct and I swear I didn't eat the last Ho Ho in the break room".

 

The vaccine gave me an interesting side effect! I went to Sams and bought a bag of Pistachios! Just developed a desire to eat Pistachios!

I have had that desire for over 50 years. Must have been my Measles vaccine in grade school!

 

Yeah. I started with paper and never really got pulled in. Then went ELD and would get pulled in. They asked for logbook. Told them it was ELD and they said forget it, don't want to deal with the hassle.

 

Nice. The officers that I run into just give me code to input into my Qualcomm, and it sends it directly to their system. And none of them have been lazy enough not to do thorough inspections. Luckily no issues so far, so the end result is a good mark on my psp. ####, I was going through a scale this morning and the parked officer was looking for his next victim. I thought it was going to be me, but maybe the clean truck was enough to get skipped. I rolled on. That’s all I care about.
