I was solo on the 11 western. Sliding scale .45 - .21 cpm. I saw mostly .21 and spent most of my time in the mid states with a trip to VA, MS and TN. They will send you any where they need to. Oh and dh miles were .15 cpm. Needless to say I made no money and left after 4 months. Start my new job on the 2nd. Good luck and don't believe what the recruiters tell ya. I was told I would make $650-$800 a week, I never made more than $500 and that was before health ins was taken out.

 

theres plenty of other companies to go to as a newbie,trust me just do your hw. werners not worth it. i also ran 11 west. my biggest check in 6 mos was $460, and my weekly checks averaged 200-350. i had friends working back home at fast food places part time making more than i was.

i went to conway(i believe they hire students) and jumped up to .32 ALL MILES. i havent had a check under 600 here yet.

 

this trip im on right now, started around 1300 today and will be done tommorrow is paying me 413.60, granted by the time the trip is done my hours will be almost shot but it aint bad for a company man....

 

Thats not paying your dues thats called getting raped! I was talking home AFTER taxes $800-$1000 a WEEK within my first few weeks OTR. I very rarely see less then that, you need to do ALLOT more research! lol
