    Hello Everyone,

Been having a issue with my dome lights. they will not come on. KW 660. Replaced the bulbs. When flip the switch on, either from the front or the sleeper, the small red light under dash does come on, so can not be a fuse unless there is a second fuse that I am missing. Anyone else have issues.

I'd start by pullin the fixture off and seeing if there is power gettng to it. I have one of those screwdriver looking testers that lights up when power is flowing. Could be something like an easy ground wire. In the prostar there is a fuse box located under the bunk driverside. Also check behind the switch to make sure a wire isn't loose

    Wish I were more help.

Thanks. There are two switches. What gets me, when turn them on, the light on the dash comes on, just not the upper bunk lite.

I have a problem with the driver's side dome light, replaced the bulb but it burned out again.

Here recently the red lights under the dash are not working.

Early on when I first got the truck, the gauge lights would go dark intermittently. That's very distressing when driving at night let me tell ya.

Also had problems with the 5 clearance lights up on the visor burning out. I upgraded to some lights that cost $20 bucks each (bought 2) and was at Salt Lake City terminal talking to the mechanic about how the TA had sold me the last 2, he left and came back with a handful of the same lights and handed them to me like candy.

Occasionally one or both the headlights would blow. I discovered they usually did that within a day or two of an inspection where the DOT cop or the DOT inspection at TA/Petro asked me to turn off the engine then turn the lights and brights on.

My theory on that was that the batteries are old and don't provide a full on charge to the headlights so damage the filaments.

I discovered the license plate light's wire was loose and corroded. I cut it off and sealed it and tucked it into the frame then removed the license plate light. I have not had a problem with the gauge lights not working since-- I believe it was causing a short in the system.

Found out that the dome light issue has to be fixed at KW. Warranty issue and they are aware of it. Was talking to the Service MGR at New Boston, and he told me that they have already sent 4 truck there to gget it fixed.

    scottied67 Thanks this.
