Don’t drive for DSW Transportation

if the PC and pay stuff is true then you have a fairly decent lawsuit on your hands.

 

There is a DSW in Tucson that hauls Swift freight exclusively. Is this that DSW? Or is it the discount shoe place? Or is it some other place altogether different?

 

Website says they've been trusted for over thirty years and are focused on helping drivers succeed....
What in the world is going on here?

 

Dang driver....tough break. Let's turn a negative into a positive here. First what does DSW stand for? Maybe we can come with an acronym for this one, like so many other companies that have become laughingstocks.

 

Years ago, there was a DSE, Denver Southwest Express.

 

Some of the guys that started around the time of deregulation are selling to retire now. Don’t know if it applies in that case, but new ownership can usually run a company out of 35yrs of reputation, industry goodwill and credit in 2, and walk away with a pile of money. It’s not new, been happening forever. Just by timing it may be a bit of a trend we’ll see.

 

DSW is the abbreviation for Digby Southwest. They've been leased to Swiffy since at least the 1990s.
