Next time only give 2 minutes notice.
- Clean out truck
- Arrange for suitable transportation
- Turn in truck (That’s the 2 minute notice)
- Leave
Now, admittedly, I did take an extra minute to bite someone in the office once, but that’s not really important for your needs.
Don’t give a two week notice to Schneider National or they terminate you that day and take away all,

Based on the OP’s vacation numbers, they have over 7 years with Schneider. They also have only one post, and use a name that represents a female.

Usually sni is good at honoring a 2 wk notice..I'm wondering what happened as if this was an employee who had a bad record recently or just made the office fed up beyond tolerance .

I used to work for Schneider. I gave a two week notice. Never had any issues. My DBL thanked me for giving two weeks, said most drivers don't. Usually they are lucky someone even tells them they quit. Said most just ditch the truck at an OC and leave without saying anything.
I've never quit a job without giving at least 2 weeks.LilRedRidingHood, Another Canadian driver, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
I know I am dumb. Sleepy at the railroad switch all day before I get that light bulb. And a little slow.
Your idea that the OP is making a idiot by trolling us all is a very good one. I should learn to pay attention to future OP's trying to stir up a fuss.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -

I gave a 2 week notice when I left Schneider and had no issues. I ran as normal and they managed to route me back to my home operating center the last day. Cleaned out the truck and was on my way home where I had a local job lined up. They also called and tried to see if there was any way I would stay. OTR simply wasn’t an option for me anymore and they were very understanding.
Something with the OP story doesn’t seem right like maybe there’s more to the story. Could be another 1 post wonder or maybe something went really wrong for them when they were at Schneider, I don’t know. All I know is they treated me well but as they say “results may vary.”LilRedRidingHood, Another Canadian driver and bzinger Thank this. -
