Any time in a low speed situation with people walking not paying attention is a good time to use flashers.......a flashing light will get most people's attention in a yard actually.....

 

At our yard we're required to use them and drive at 5mph. I use them when backing at a truck stop. But it's cuz I still suck LOL

 

You’re not supposed to admit that. I like flashers when backing up, to alert to a traffic hazard in the road, and especially when there’s a hard brake check.
