ALRB Logistics out of Raleigh, NC.

i only worked for them for three weeks, but it wasnt a great experience. First load, my PS rear truck tire (super singles) blew and caused damage to the rim and tire in front of it. took 8 hours for them to get someone out to repair it.

loads...were never given to me in an orderly fashion. i would be told where to head to, but then id have to practically beg for the pickup number, destination, and delivery appointment time.

compliance with hour regulations...they dont comply with federal regulations. not once did they ever ask me or keep in mind when assigning me a load what my hours were. i would routinely deliver a load and then sit for 6-8 hours before they would get me another load. i was then expected to drive there immediately, not once being asked if i had the hours to make it.

my 3rd and last week with them, the driver side tire came apart and the front drive axel broke. i sat for a week while they bickered with the repair shop over the parts needed for the repair due to the high price. repairs finished Wednesday at 2100. load was already a week late so it was an asap delivery time. i went to sleep and woke up at 0100 to drive from Beaverdam, OH to Pulaski, TN...491 miles. arrived around 0800 and delivered the load, unloaded by 0900. was told to take the trailer i had and drop it in Nashville, TN. 77 miles. Then i was to go to Chattanooga, TN to pick up my new load going to South Boston, VA. . .where i had to report for Army National Guard drill that Saturday morning. i drive 100 miles of the 120 miles to Chattanooga and get informed that i was supposed to pick up the new trailer in Nashville and then head to Chattanooga to be loaded. . .except they never told me about that, so how would i know about it? they dont talk about my being near out of hours. they dont care...and i need to get to South Boston, VA for drill, so i ignore my hours as well. i return to Nashville, pick up the new trailer and head back to Chattanooga. i get loaded, but cant stay on the property to do my 10 hour break. so i drive about 72 miles to the closest place i can park along my route that had available parking, which i get there at 2330. total miles driven that day, 961. no delivery appointment time given. at 0900 i am called and asked where i am, and they say the appointment time is 730, but dont know if its am or pm. . .the trucking industry runs on the 24 hour clock so not only do i know im late, but the company is incompetent. im then called and asked why am i late, why didnt i make it on time, etc. ordered to bring the truck and trailer to Raleigh. i ask why when i drill in South Boston, to which im told ok, head to South Boston and park at the Pilot. . .but im told i cant drive to my armory 5 miles away, because they are cutting down on fuel costs. considering i run the truck 24/7 to provide me AC because the APU doesnt work...i object and make my decision to quit. im told to bring the truck where i picked it up from in Raleigh. im pressed for time to get to drill in time to catch a few hours of sleep, but i do so, clean it out, leave the BOLs for current load and the Ohio load i delivered on the front seat, along with the repair receipts on the drivers seat. i take pictures of everythimv and txt them as im leaving that im moved out and key is in the ignition. i do forget about the fuel card, but i could mail that back and ive never been asked to return a fuel card anyways. they text me and tell me to return all weight tickets, bols, fuel card, and other such paperwork right now. i refuse, stating that such things can be mailed to them, especially since i am pressed for time and money, and need to get to army drill. my father, an attorney for NC, mailed them all they asked for. im still waiting for them to pay me my dues and will probably be forced to take them to court to get my money.

Seems like this guy may have a legitimate beef, but the post is so convoluted and rambling, I'm not really sure.

But, he's got one post so we pretty well know how this is gonna go.

I currently work for them. They are have about 12 trucks and he speaks the truth. They don't look at ure hours. Here's my experience so far.

I've been with a trucking company going on 2 months the first weeks was fine(except the delivery times to get there I couldn't make) I was expected 600miles regardless what my truck could do actually do. 2nd week got sent to new York city and was given a hour to make it to New York City and into down town Brooklyn. They canceled the load because I ended up taking 7hrs to get there and it took me 8hrs to get out and park. Every load takes 4 to 5 hrs to get. I took some home time for a little bit.

Well the worst came when I came back. The weekend they sent me to pick up where they didn't speak english(hispanic). I had 2 deliveries one in Virginia and the other was in pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I was in rockymount nc. Pennsylvania was scheduled for 10am and Virginia was 4pm both same day. I was told it was switched cus that was a 18hr trip otherwise. So went to Virginia one at 1am found out closed so shut down there. The Chinese ppl there was rude and didn't speak English found out they didn't open til 7am... did that went to the next one got there at 9pm found out they wouldn't take me also chinese didn't speak English and was rude. Got up the next day and delivered. Got told to have them write down on the BOL the day before. Had to have there 10year old son translate what I wanted. Had to call the cops. Cops wouldn't do nothing cus they didn't speak engwish. Then I was sent to pick up in Dunkirk and found out that they was closed and that I was supposed to pick up the day before but because the Chinese ppl wouldn't unload me I missed my pickup. I had to wait a day to get another load. Was sent to New Jersey to deliver got there on time and stuff then I got sent to new york city.

Well turns out my break chamber went out on the George Washington bridge... I missed my pickup. I had to wait til 5th(July 4th) so I had to sit 2 days. I got a load to pick up in queens new york on 8th st. Found out a tractor trailer has no business in queens. Also they gave me the wrong address and it was 100miles from queens with a hour left to pickup. Then got sent to Newark New Jersey I get there and they said hey go to pine island I said ok. Well they canceled it on the way there lol. I was told to go park well I went to Newburgh New York to a pilot. Then I get a load 150 miles away to pick up in Elizabeth new Jersey. Found out they cut my pay because I went that far from new jersey...

after a few pickup and deliveries things was fine then I got sent to Florida from Maine ran into traffic but still delivered. Dropped my trailer off in largo Florida. Missed the opportunity to pick up another trailer. So for some reason they made me bobtail 400miles to Atlanta to get a trailer after waiting 3hrs I got a trailer.

Then I get sent to pick up a load mind you at this point I have 7hrs on my 70. The load is going to high point nc. 6hr trip. I get to a pilot on the west side of Atlanta on 85 I weigh they loaded me 37k lbs on the drives and 30 on the trailer tandem. I go back in the morning to tell me about it and they over loaded one guy 3 times. It took 2 hrs to get back because of morning rush hour... Also I was supposed to have that delivered by 430.... I didn't have the hrs to deliver in the first place but was told to go with it anyways. So now I'm 4hrs on my 70 for a 6hr trip. They cancel that load and unload me. I have to wait til the next day to get another load. I get one and it goes great and I end up delivering in Charleston sc.

They give me a load on Friday afternoon picking up in Charleston and the North Charleston Port terminal. I get there and they said you need a twick card to get in I tell my dispatch and they say what's a twick card and can I pay for a escort the guard said they don't do that which I knew that. So now I've been sitting since Friday with out a load and I've done 1500miles 300miles of it was a load the rest was empty.
