However there is nothing regulating time spent lumping a trailer you can work a thousand hours but not drive a inch until you have had 10 off. However we all know that is not how customers want to see trucks everywhere on the property taking 10 off... that's what they get for manning grocery with three people and 100 docks.Joetro, Rideandrepair and O.Henry Thank this. -
We had a DOT follow a local wood chip truck into a mill to the scalehouse to check his weight. The scalehouse lady totally went off on the guy told him it was private property and he had to go. Needless to say he never has done that again.

A couple times I’ve wanted to stop and take a nap and then I hear DOT is messing with drivers, so I drive on. This practice should not be allowed.
