Double clutching in school

    Not all trucks have clutch brakes. I have one that doesn't and drove it for years that way. Double clutching it was easy, and most of the time it was a matter of learning how to watch the tach, know what speed is for the next gear to make the change and just do it.

    What I wonder is,,, why has nobody ever made syncro rings that can handle a truck transmission?

    I've kinda developed a half/float half single clutch technique for myself.

    Frankly I kinda hated having to double clutch in school. It's really confusing for the newbs.
