Downright dirty and unscrupulous actions by mercer!

I believe the Marines had a several million dollar issue with them as well.

 

Knowls isn't the only repair place. They hand you a sheet with like 30 local repair places. You pick where to go and have stuff done.

But you have been hating on Mercer for years. Sorry if you fail so horribly.

 

The OM would have dispatched him at Landstar for a small fee, and he would have lived happily ever after.

 

This is why I dont recommend financing anything through a carrier.

You shouldn't get into that situation without your own trailer, or license plates.

If the back charges are not warranted, or fraudulent. They can FO and you will see them in court.

 

X2. In my opinion, the beginning of the fall of the "Great Mercer Owner Operator Company" was when they decided you no longer had to own your own trailer and equipment to lease on.

 

You don't know what you're talking about, apparently. I put 8 new virgin tires on my flat immediately before I turned it in. Had them put on at the boss shop in Hebron, Indiana, deadheaded straight to Louisville and turned the trailer in... 1.5 months later I get a bill stating I owe a couple hundred dollars because the tires were 1 or 2 32nd difference than the tires that were on the trailer when I first leased it.

The new tires actually had more tread depth than the tires Mercer had on it originally. Knowles is a scam.

When I put up a fight about it, the trailer had already been leased out to another driver so it was too late to have another mechanic company that Mercer uses inspect the trailer for a "second opinion".
