I notice you just joined TR. Just read what's already there very carefully. After awhile you'll be able to sift through and find that some drivers are good drivers that just get tired of playing stupid games. On the other you will find others that can't find their way out of a paper bag and spend half their time looking for others to blame. This is a dynamic profession full of all walks of life. IMO any company that advertises sucks and wants nothing more than to get all they can from you before you quit. Then it circles back around to the advertising.

FirstFleet (one word) is not a perfect company, but no company is perfect. There are negative blogs about most trucking companies on this website and if you search the world wide web, I assure you that you will find a negative comment on all trucking companies.
The issue with individuals posting negative comments about any company or the employees that work there is they want the world handed to them for doing little to no work. This is the generation of workers that any company, not just the trucking industry is facing in this country. I call this the "Me Generation", all about me and not about the company that hires them, issues these employees a steady paycheck and offers benefits in a nation where benefits are slowly fading.
Like all companies, FirstFleet will have employees who become disgruntled or former employees that are disgruntled because their work ethic was not what this company or any company expects to see when this employee is interviewed. How many hiring managers have hired an employee because they had a great interview and two weeks later you are asking yourself why you hired this employee?? Again, there are individuals that slip through the cracks because of a good interview, get hired and then these employees expect more money for doing less work. These are the same employees ("Me Generation") who do not want to get their hands dirty or want to break a sweat, start rumors or leave negative remarks on websites about their former company. Then there are employees at FirstFleet and other companies that are very happy where they are and do more for less because they like to go home for the day knowing their work ethic is better than the "Me Generation".
I would assure you that FirstFleet and all other companies hire respectable and hard working employees who are proud to hold a job in this economy that is ever changing. With the ever changing economy job titles may change, people may be laid off and business may change, but if people cannot change with the economy then companies make changes that helps create continuity, productivity and profitability, which is not always a negative. There have been many companies that have made changes since the economy turned sour. This happens and in the future it will continue to happen.
I have been to many businesses and have worked at different places across the US where I have seen the "Me Generation" sitting around, not willing to learn, expecting others to do their work while the other employees are picking up their slack and this employee makes the lazy individual look good. It is truly sickening because al companies have the "Me Generation" employees working for them.
You can find this information on the internet. FirstFleet has been in the transportation industry for 25 years. This company runs newer equipment that run in the 48 states, Mexico and Canada.
On a final note, any company who wants to become successful will do what things that employees are not going to agree with, but if these employees are put in a position as some of the CEOs of any business they will soon learn that some decisions are very difficult. To all the "Me Generation" employees: a little hard work has never hurt anyone.

can anyone say desk jockey cheerleader?
Get over it there lowlife!
Everyone in TTR knows a cheerleader when we see one! They come in with their first post in attack mode and them keep going!
We'll wait for someone who's been here a bit longer and maybe a certain female driver from Pittsburgh might chime in here as she got shafted by this bunch! -
