I had a 1970 LeMans for several years back in the 80s, I wish I still had it!

 

i had a '64 T-Bird.....one of our kids was ...well.....9 months later......

still wish i had that as well......the car.....

Seriously, I completely forgot about the Tempest. Nice car!

 

i think many of us forgot the "first generation or so", of cars that later went on to become muscle cars, under a different badge.

i think John Delorean was ahead of his time at GM.

 

My mother saved some insert from the Boston Globe. It was about fallen flags and muscle cars, etc. The article about Buick GSX was terrible! Half the article was the question, and the question wasn't about Buicks, it was about how the guy's Mopar was a a car killer, blag blag blah.

The article pointed out the 1970 GSX in its stock form ran the quickest 1/4 mile of all like cars in some magazine in 1970. I think it excluded factory race cars.
