The worse thing about it is I grow old enough maybe I don't know what America is anymore perhaps LA should burn down and Cali needs to fall into the sea. I don't know. It would be horrible but we will carry on all the same.
The reason I think it's somewhat easier to treat cali like that is because they have dictated what the rest of us should do. Im sorry I never grew up in Cali and am spoiled by living in a free country. However, Cali is the one place anywhere in all the lower 48 where I think things are not as good to be there in a big rig with a load. Get in, load and get out. Other states I would get in, visit a while enjoy the locals and maybe load sometime. Stay a while. But Cali aint it.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

Tractor had the old style three button, red and yellow is normal but the third the blue was to supply air to trailer only. Not used anymore in today's trucks.
The stack covers are not used anymore but I remember having them.
His shifting is overly fancy for movie purposes I bet that engine was a slow dropper in RPM enough for him to pretend to be rough in gearing. But you did not have to drop far with those old engines, probably 2100 to 1700 or even 1800. Redline would be 2300 probably.
I think the tractor's front bumper was provided with reinforcement versus cars on that bridge as a stunt. Usually a corner is punching one of the steers when you hit it on the corner hard enough.
If you followed the Rocket fuel claim it's probably Ammonium perchlorate 1442 UN. Which knows how to blow up when hit hard or burned fast. Im not sure if its a salt or a liquid but if I looked into it further it will probably detail it more.
