Driver Killed On Shoulder Due To Bad Pass Attempt

    The funny thing is is the only folks that now what the purpose of the triangles is are truck drivers. 99.9% of the other driving public have no clue. There is no mention of them in anything driver ed related unless it is for cdl. So they are basically useless in that respect. They just look like all the other misc litter that lays along the sides of the highways to them as they pass.

    Last time i had to set them up, dude intentionally ran over all three and swerved directly at me making me need to dive for the ditch to avoid getting hit. I know it was intentional because he threw his coffee at my rig as a final screw you. I ####ing HATE chicago.

    Thanks, you just made me feel a little better about that time I drove an extra half mile to get to a much better wide spot when my steer tire was cut by random bouncing steel debris on I-20 in Dallas. Air went all the way out before I got there, ruined the rim, felt bad about that, but literally no one slows down for a truck on the shoulder in Dallas, even if you arrange your triangles the correct way to direct traffic away from your truck.
