Ive broken leases before, no apparent harm than what was already present in credit that year. Credit is less important now.

Sounds like Swift Safety is still up to their old nonsense. My third year there I got suspended for a week for a log violation. I was so disgusted with them by that time that I didn't even ask what the violation was. My DM (not Safety) called to tell me about it and said she had gotten permission from the fleet manager to keep me active until I could be routed back to the home terminal. That way I could just take it as home time.
I was going to leave at that point but I got offered a dedicated account that that looked good to me and I decided to give that a try. It was dispatched out of another terminal and the safety department there never bothered me once.
So I don't know what to tell you. They aren't just unreasonable. They're also pretty random, which in a way is even more annoying.
Is your MVR clean? PSP clean? Time to start looking around for another company. One that doesn't have cameras and beepity-beeps. -
