Well, since Obama just increased the minimum wage of certain govmint workers...

And that will increase the costs of doing business, which will increase the cost of everything related to that...

What good would it do to increase the pay of truck drivers, since that would increase the costs of everything we purchase?
Are you better off in the long run? I doubt it.

The bottom line is - if you are not satisfied with your pay range, you need to get the education to move to something more to your liking.
And not expect people that have made the effort to subsidize your own lack.

    mje Thanks this.

Your add says that you require hazmat, yet your website says no hazmat?

    Which is the lie?

By the way, I went to the Unit One website from a search - not the one from your add.
    They are different.

    So, what is the lie?

Excellent add with excellent numbers, perhaps certain individuals thought it might be too unbelievable, because the numbers were so good.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Minimum wage is another that has flat-lined, and suffered from inflation. I think it's at about 60% of what it was 40 years ago in inflation-adjusted figures.

    The place I started at 10 years ago paid .32/mile. Now it's .34 or .36 to start. 4 c in 10 years !

In contrast - these guys paid .56 when we started 7 years ago - now it's .66 - 10cent raise in 7 years. Depends on the company?
