It wasn't but you can't win with certain people and you'll almost never change anyone's mind on these types of things so I just let him have the last word.

Hippies in the 60s started using the word dope for weed and it's still the common reference today .
For good reason smoking it makes you temporarily dopey

Weed is , well, a weed- a plant that grows naturally in the ground and more helpful than anything.

"Dope" is heroin. A drug that is booted into your veins and highly addictive. It's caused grown men (and women) to lose everything! Their careers, their homes, their families, their friends etc etc. And ya know what? They don't even get high anymore they just need it to not get "dope sick".

That's right, grow men go down on other men just to get enough dope to avoid getting "dope sick". That doesnt happen because someone is craving the munchies.

It's ironic that you inferred I was "dumb" with your last comment when you're spouting off about a subject they could write books with what you don't know about.

    Shall I continue?

Weed is a hallucinogen. Not like LSD, which is visual, but it impacts your perception of time.

In trucking, losing even a half second is the difference between stopping safely and flattening the family car in front of you.

Weed also can flash back if you are not actively using it. Even after weeks of no use, though this is generally seen in heavy users who have quit.

No matter what the future of weed might be for the general public, it should always be heavily restricted for professional drivers.

Weed today is stronger than the old stuff sure.

Does it make it worse? Hell no.

You wouldn't knock down 10 shots of wild turkey would you?

You're also not going to want to smoke 4 grams of weed in one sitting.

Again I don't think anyone is for driving high. But what you do in your off time is not the dots business.

That's half right until the 60s opium and heroin were called dope , then the hippies started using dope in reference to hash and weed , they didn't use the word dope because it makes you smarter or more productive

Drugs that can flashback on the road can kill you even when you aren't using them.

Dude what are you talking about?

What is a flashback, when you're not high anymore you're not high...

It's not like a cartoon where you're seeing dragons and Mickey Mouse then billy big rigger is driving down the road the next day has a flash back and jettisons his truck into the loves avoiding an imaginary dragon.
