Not sure what they will have you do hunter. i believe they want you to either have 6 months or a full year in. But thats what the recruiter and the people in orientation are there for. They may have you go out with a trainer, they might not even look at you as a possible candidate to work for them, not sure. Usually USA doesn't turn people down unless they see something negative in their past, but anythings possible.

If you are not near a terminal (you are not) they want you to take the truck/trailer home. Only two places I know of that we deliver to in Maine... Walmart and International Paper. Not sure how hard it would be to get you home though.

The rider program costs so much a month (I don't think it costs much) and can start after your 90 day probationary period ends. They have to register and sign an insurance waiver etc...

I'd like a copy of the Excel spreadsheet. May be interesting to try and use.

I go to orientation on the 23rd. So far everything with C1 and USA has been great. Communication on everything has been wonderful and could not ask for more. I worked an IT job before this and I can say the communication lines at USA are far better than I have seen before. I am pumped about it. A guy I finished school with is starting the same time at USA in Ohio. Worst part is the 12 hour bus ride but better than driving there and leaving my car there. Rather it be tucked away in the garage. However maybe at some point it would be nice to have there for hometime as it is only 5 hours from home. Don't know if they have somewhere to keep it safe. I would think there is. But definately excited to get going!

If you're going to van buren there is a lot in the back for you to park your car. It is away from all trucks.

I just got sent home from USA. Don't get in any accidents, I got in two in truck stops, no tickets. I had a bent rim, flat tire. The last one I was 3 hours away from home. Insted of sending Me home then They sent Me on 3 loads that got Me 36 hours away. My truck brokedown so rather than put Me up till it got fixed they fired Me. They did give Me a GH ticket but told Me geting My stuff home was My prob. If any of You nubys get a 9400 in Batton Rough La. You won't need a micro-wave or refrig. I had to leave about $200-$300 worth of stuff in there truck. Scott

I have heard of several drivers that has happened to. USA is cracking down on unsafe driving, whether its ticketable or not. There has to be more to this than what's being said here, I have seen lots of folks go home the way this person describes and it always been more than an accident.

I think its because of CSA2010, they really have no choice. Things like the drunk wrong way driver in Colorado is not helping. Its either weed out the bad drivers or we all go home. Safety really has no choice.

    goodchoice10 Thanks this.
