I'm going to driver solutions with PAM in Indianapolis in 2 weeks and was
giving access to the e-gear learning center to practice the cdl test, but when I click on the{ "CDL MANUAL"{review this section of cdl manual},
for help during the training test the page it opens is blank. I emailed my rep and he said they checked it out and it was working for them.he also said to lower my security settings which I did.I've tried every thing I can think of ,even with 2 different browsers including turning off my Norton anti-virus and nothing helps.
I don't know if my pc is missing some kind of plug in,reader, etc or I have something blocking the page.
I'm would appreciate the help if anybody has some suggestions.
    thanks

kb315341 should guide you about problems you may encounter after re-install.

thanks for the help guys,I talked to my rep yesterday and found out there's a glitch on the web site that they didn't know about, and the manual I was trying to open was not suppose to be there.I was trying to open it on the state questions and it is only suppose to be on the cdl part of the practice test.
    thanks,hxred

I don't like the sound of that at all and i hope I'm not making a mistake by doing this if the job market is getting that tight.
maybe {i hope} I'm a little confused about how this works but I'm going through P.A.M. Transport and Driver Solutions and the way I'm understanding this is I'm signing an agreement for 1 year with one of the trucking company's the school deals with {I've been offered 3} and its a lock for 1 year after the training.
I'm not big on surprises so if there's something I should know about all of this ,I would really like to know because I'm running out of options on what to do for the next 20 yrs of my income earning life.
    thank you

Nothing is ever a "lock" to be sure. If there isnt any freight then there are no miles. I know a driver that went to school and hooked up with werner for a year to pay his school bill 3 years ago....yeah he worked for a year alright, some weeks all that got paid was taxes and school loan...I am sure there are good programs out there but I would ask TONS of questions and read all the very fine print first.

There are a lot of posts lately about schools closing, cancelling classes, and a hire freeze heck some companies are closing their doors. PLEASE do your research and be careful with any choice you make. Check out the thread are there any jobs out there in the questions from new drivers section of this forum, maybe that will help you out a bit.
