I get mine clean with an SOS pad then let them dry. Then spray the #### out of them with Lucas speed wax and dry them off. If I get a truck wash I get rainx or whatever spray wax they are offering. Bugs can’t stick to slick surface.
Easier way to clear bugs off exhaust stacks?

That long handled windshield washer at the fuel island works well,,
don't have a lot of flying bugs in Colorado, unlike Wisconsin that required a putty knife for removal.

Someone told me to spray WD-40 on the chrome and stainless. He swore it worked well, claims to do it weekly. Looking at his truck, if that's what he's doing, it seems to work. His truck is a '99 and looks like it should be in a museum.
Anyone ever try it?Oxbow, Kenworth6969, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
