Haha, my thoughts exactly. If one has to become a "trainer" to make ends meet you should pick another company. I don't think I've ever spoken to one "trainer" who did it because they wanted to. It's always for the extra money.

Well, if you only run 8.75 hours a day you'll never run out of hours. Some say you can get in just as many miles a week doing it that way. I wonder if e-loggers are more likely to do it that way.

Not saying that's what you should do or should have to do but I can see how it could make life easier and depending on the company and the loads it may be productive.

I agree! There's gonna be trucks crawling around everywhere! People in 4-wheelers are gonna demand that something is done about it. Epidemic of 5mph trucks lol

I'm on e-logs and that's exactly what I do. Never have to really worry about my 70 and I'm still turning in about 500 to 575 miles a day. I'm about to actually turn in a 3700 mile week.

The nice thing about running like that is that you take off at midnight when you get your hours your parking at 10 a.m. There's always parking.

Occasionally though I get screwed up by a shipper or receiver or a four and a half million mile driver zoning out and taking out my mirror on a two-lane Highway...

Semper Gumby is the order of the day..

This is nonsense, tucker. Paper only eliminates some ridiculous aspects of HOS.That's all.I am on paper and I get as much rest AS I NEED not as ELD needs.Frankly I can't understand how you guys can deal with that ELD thing.Does it tell you when you can crap too?

Ready to crucify him, for giving some dumb ### statement, like the eld made me do it. Come on get real. #### happens in trucking everyday. If all you had to do was pay 14 bucks, get a life. At least it was only 14 bucks!!
