    The new Garmin has a plug for it, not sure how it works. Similar to the Transflow except it works with the 580 DEZL.

    This has been answered with anecdotes. It won't have the information required by the ELD mandate from what I seen. Basically, they will keep track of drive time no matter what from tieing to the ECM. That and miles traveled.

    You want to get the AOBRD because they are easier to cheat. All the big companies have them for that reason.

    I've been using BigRoad for the past 2 years, great interface and platform.

    I'm upgrading to the AOBRD before the ELD mandate goes into place. The only difference (as explained to me) is activating a software update if you want to go full ELD mode, which I don't.

    BigRoad has an O/O special going right now, they send you the DataLink cable which connects to your phone or tablet. They are offering 3 free months if you pay 12 mos upfront.

    Not a bad deal for a little over $19 a month...
