The concept of ELD was sold as a safety mind control debate and discussion. Just like the idea of driver facing cameras were sold to drivers as a coaching device. But now that drivers have sifted through the BS, the message has changed that ELD is just innocuous and only about making recording your RODs easier and more accurate.
