I have seen it many times in truck stops and other places where someone won't get off the phone to back up. I never talk on the phone to do this, I never talk on the phone in heavy traffic, I saw one guy going down the highway and he kept swerving into the other lanes and a couple of times he almost hit a car, when I was able to pass him I saw that he was on the phone, It's these kinds of things that give us a bad name,

I have seen that too NightWind, just the other day I pulled in to the fuel stop and this guy was pumping his fuel at the same time he was peeing, there was a porta potty 20 ft from the fuel pump, now that is just lazy

I agree with you on both issues here....I myself have seen some very crazy driving where cell phones were being used at the time by truck driver's and 4 wheelers.

Went with my husband during family week when we can ride with them at work and had to endure seeing the second issue for myself when we pulled into a truckstop!
My husband just shook his head and said...."YOU see alot of weird and crazy things being done out here"

I think it does make a difference. It points to many things about the company he was employed by beyond just the isolated incident that you described.
If there were numerous incidents of lets say the particular Highway Patrol pulling over truckers for no good reason, that points to a trend. Everyone would want to know what state was involved. It is kinda like knowing "the rest of the story" like Paul Harvey would say. Goooooday!

and thats fine. thats your opinion and we all have them. and i'll respect that no matter how dumb it is. j/k. you might want to go back and read original thread again. i just don't think your getting the point of it. this thread is about a driver and so are all the posts that followed. this has nothing to do with company , this is all about driver stupidity and the crap they do to make the rest of us look bad. and by the way the whole story was told. just because i didn't mention names/company or even gender does not make this an incomplete story. good day to you too.

Like you say, we all have opinions no matter how dumb they may be. I am getting the point of the thread. Your take on it is that he made you and all drivers look bad. I think he made his company look bad also. So why protect the company? They hired him. They are paying him to represent them. They gave him a truck with their name on it. They will get sued when he ends up hurting someone. I am sure that company would have appreciated if you had called them on the spot.

Thanks (?) for the mental image LOL! At least you had some entertainment while you were stuck in that mess!

I'm a woman... and the entertainment value was nothing compared to the embarrassment. I guess the euphoric sense I had that a woman would never do some of the goofy stuff that men pull out there was a great let down too. My bad.

I still aint figured out why he was flipping me off
