Chances are if you are new, you won't be driving a tanker with no experience. Get on the road for at least 6 months and then get the endorsements.

Get every endorsement you can on the first shot. You never know when you will want/need them!

You should get them now while you can. At the beginning when I started I wanted to obtain all as I can because I knew I wouldent have as much time I would of had If im out on the road. And having all of them now is better for future employment

I agree. Better to have and not need when job searching than to need and not have.

Get a Doubles and trips, Tanker, and definitely get a Hazmat. Down the road once you get some exp. You'll open up alot of doors in trucking and you won't have to take time off to get these. Knock it out now. A good job might pop up you qualify for and there might be limited spots while your going to get the endorsements the other guy got the job. This site has the practice test, just take them over and over and you'll pass without reading the DMV book and free. Just renewed my Hazmat, passed with ease today.

Get every single one you can as doors could possibly open for you. I've been researching the business long enough to know the more nedorsements you have equals the better chances you have at hauls and getting that job you wanted. Just my .02.

Get at least tanker with the new rule on ibc's (totes). 119g or more per container and more than 1000g you will need tankers endorment.
