Stevens Transport isn't any better then CRST. These Mega carriers throw around bonus dollars over a year time.
research and compare carriers. These mega carriers, It's easy to find the "career" link. It's not about the freight they haul for a customer, They enjoy trying to prove to a potential driver to come join them. It's not about customers, It's about recruiting drivers. Look closely at the mega carriers website. it is 100% trying to convince any one in earshot they are the best.

Mine doesn't list pay. The name sells it self. Mega carriers do.
In fact, My company removes all other company logos from their trucks.
I'm Not better then you or anyone else. Just the the blanket statement "every company " threw me off lol
Take a guess.
ETA: we send everything to the scrap yard. no other carrier can have our used equipment: Errrr so im told.Last edited: Jan 2, 2014
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
ok maybe saying every company is exaggeration but you have to admit a majority does
blairandgretchen and Shaggy Thank this. -
I got my permit today. I was stressing a little because I didn't have much time to study for it. I got my CDL handbook on Monday afternoon and tested this afternoon. One step down. Many more to go.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -

This is a concept many miss. Good spotting and calculator skills.
I'd go to work for CRST if they paid me an annual $50,000 bonus - because that's what I'd lose by working there.Shaggy Thanks this. -
I think what's worst is how in their employee handbooks almost most of this bottom feeders have a little anti-union diatribe coupled with the biggest BS claim I have ever heard.
"We believe unions are not necessary as our pay and benefits package is as competitive as the union carriers"
-
lol thats a joke, I know I would make more driving for a union.
-
Yeah I'm used to that. I tried to start one in the Marine Corps. For some odd reason they said no and acted like I was an idiot. Lol
