The back line is diagonal because whoever planned out the parking in that lot is either stupid, ignorant, or just doesn't give a ####.

To be fair, before they added the bobtail row, that line of parking would have been pretty nice.

Google maps still shows an image without a bobtail row, so it wasn't too many years ago.

*note that both drivers only parked in their respective spot, like a civilized human being.

That's why I usually would park at the lot down the road next to the Bass Pro Shop. But since my company delivers boats there maybe we get left alone, even though I don't haul boats or use a boat trailer lol.

Also, I've parked at the outlet mall.

That's the Pilot in Lamar, PA. Stopped there plenty of times.

Note that both drivers were also several feet extended into their travel lanes because they compromised their safety and risked their trucks.

If someone swipes the nose off my truck, I do not have a megacompany's resources to put me in a new truck while my truck is being repaired.

That pilot in Altoona might be old enough to have been built when 48' was the standard. Seems to be a common problem where if the trailer is at the line, the truck is sticking out. I avoid flying js because of this, or if I have to I park in the back against a curb. I was at the flying j in effingham IL, I think, and the person behind me was so far into my spit my whole truck was sticking out! Luckily I was between other trucks so no one had to back in by me.
