    Curb hopping is an awful expensive way to manage that. A little wooden ramp made from 2x10's would cost a lot less than the occasional new steer tire.

    Tires are a lot more resilient then people think. Start pulling a 70’ stretch trailer, driving over curbs and on sidewalks is pretty common.

    Yes, I know tires are tough, but if you hit a rough curb wrong, it can peel the side of a tire like an orange. Been there. Done that. When I was a company driver.
