Hey guys,
I'm looking for any info on this cab suspension set up. I believe it was factory installed with the 70" sleeper on the 379.
For the life of me I can't find anything on the internet about the factory set-up. All I find is the Cabmate system which I'm not interested in.
I want to retrofit it onto my 97. If anyone drives one maybe snap some pics and post them, I'd be grateful.
Factory Peterbilt 379 air suspension between cab and sleeper.

That looks like the system on the back of the sleeper. I'm looking for the one that's under the back of the cab, in front of the sleeper.

I have a recently purchased '95 Pete with ICT 120', with a Donvel air system on the front axle springs, and cab air bags that drain rapidly . . . . subscribed.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I'm getting ready to take mine apart too, subbed.

The best way to find the parts would be to find a truck with the set up you want, get the serial number and go to a Pete dealer, take lots of cash.
Best price would be salvage yard.
Cabmate is not a bad system, or just get the best seat you can afford.KB3MMX and Diesel Dave Thank this. -

This is why I'm looking to retrofit that system in, look at the gap in the door front top compared to the rear top. The top of the cab seems to be shifting forward. I noticed this the other day because I had a new right side windshield replaced and when I was reinstalling the visor I saw that and was like, what the ####, why is that like that, no wonder it's so noisy in the cab.KB3MMX Thanks this. -
So I got the parts and retrofit it to my truck. Had to be the easiest project to date on this truck. The set-up I bought was off a 2002. I got lucky and found a truck salvage that kept the whole set-up together so I didn't have to search around for additional parts.
Here are the PN's if anyone is looking to do the same:
Top plate 20-19033
Lower bracket 20-16901 (this can be taken off almost any daycab also).
Air bags 20-19036 (need 2).
If your rear air bags use compression fittings you just need to replace the right rear bag 90° fitting with a "T".
If your bags use push-lock fittings you'll need to pick up a Parker Run-"T" fitting to add to the right rear bag.
Then run some 1/4" air line from the right rear bag up to the new right front bag and T to the left front and it's done. The leveling valve for the rear bags controls the 2 new front ones also.
Now when I get around to it I can use a Porta-power to straiten out the door frames. Fortunately for me both my doors open and shut just fine. I have spoken to people that say the condition I am having will only get worse to the point the doors will not shut.CCW-Truck, WyoVac and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Awesome been searching for these part# for a week. Pretty easy install? Do you have any pictures?
