I graduated from truck driving school in February , I have since taken my test 6 times and have passed everything except for the site side paralel and obviously the road test . I now have to wait until feb. 2017 to test again. Has this happens to anyone else ? I'm upset because I am the only person from my class to have not gotten my liscense and I know I was nowhere near the worst person in my class , and was even told by my instructors I should've passed on the second or third time. I am from Massachusets , any advice or similar problems ?

I failed my test once due to me jumping out of the truck instead of going down step by step. Why are you failing the road test ?

    Adieu Thanks this.

i failed my final time today because the trooper said I was to close to the line when I finished my manuever , I didn't hit a cone or anything like that my tractor and trailer were perfectly straight but apparently I was a half inch off . He even said " ohh, close " before failing me . You cannot go on the road without passing all maneuvers , still haven't made it that far .

So if you do pass, what part of the country do you plan on running in?

wow when I took my test you have three maneuver's, two are easy the third I failed on purpose cause we were running out of time. If you do two out of three you are fine. So I jumped in the truck honked my horn and climbed out. I failed. But I did the other two perfect so they moved me to the next portion. My only advise would be maybe grab some grease from the fifth wheel and, make a line on the trailer to know how far to turn the truck and then just chase it in the other direction.

The only way to nail those maneuvers is practice. And remember, practice doesn't make perfect. PERFECT practice makes perfect. Make sure you can nail them 10 out of 10 times on the practice range before you retake the test. Like Hype suggested, make marks on the trailer if you need to. Personally, I used the landing gear braces for reference when parallel parking. I knew exactly how much of the brace needed to be showing in my mirror to signal me when to turn the wheel the other way.

Massachusetts may be the hardest state to pass your cdl test. Actual state police officers administer the test. WhIle I was living out there I knew 2 guys that practiced long and hard and didn't pass on their first attempts. That all being said, 6 times
