Rebuild kits are a cheap option but with the time involved doing the job you could just put a whole new unit on there. If you order one from the dealer I'm pretty sure it'll just be a marked up Horton piece anyway.

Check it with soapy water , mine was leaking but it was coming from the cheap plastic quick connector for the air fitting. Replaced with brass fitting , problem solved. Most times it is the fan clutch itself, but worth checking before taking it off.

Call Dealer w/vin#. See if they have one in stock. Often the Dealership has the best price. Try to find out the manufacturer and part#. You can also usually find the info on the fan somewhere. Call around to find and/or compare prices if needed. I had a problem with Horton part #’s. Apparently there’s about 12 different part #’s for my fan. I called Horton directly and was told I’d have to have one ordered and made by them. It was crazy expensive. I knew better, had bought a few in the past. Very common fan. Eventually found one. It was a fluke. Hopefully you won’t have a problem like that. A mini kit is easy to install. Might be able to do it while on the truck. Most likely still need to remove the fan blade. Protect the radiator, you’ll most likely need to supply air to it in order to get the old air cartridge to pop out. May be able to change o rings, install parts using a mirror to see inside. Best to take it off and do on a bench. They’re heavy and awkward. I suggest using a small ratchet strap to hold it while removing bolts. Same to install. Air cartridge Mini kits come with instructions. Probably best as mentioned to replace the whole thing. Being a 2013, no telling how old it is, could be original. Every newer engine I’ve seen, especially Cummins, has a huge fan. Looks real heavy compared to my old Detroit’s. Doing a complete rebuild using a kit, is more complicated. I did mine, exactly to spec. The bearing failed within 2 years. I think I had the belts too tight. Still disappointing. Ended up buying a completely rebuilt fan. They seem to last about 600k, on my trucks anyway. Look at everything, decide if you want to attempt replacing it yourself. Paying for Labor might just be a bargain, depending on your budget.

Just got Horton one from dealer labeled as trp, it's cheaper than OEM kw part, even sales clerk said it's Horton rebranded under trp
