This morning i started my truck, waited about 10-15 min to warm up, and started to drive. I think on my 3 gear the fan turned on and it will not shut down right now.
    1. I tried shutting down the engine and restarting, didn't help
    2. While the engine is running the A/C isn't blowing cold air (the fan is still on)
    3. I checked A/C compressor and its working fine, and the lines are getting cold.
    4. Also the truck is not overheating
Need help. Can it be defected thermostat, or is it solenoid. I have Cummins ISX 2006

jusy hypotesa... to check I use Insite software. Sometomes becouse of bad wiring ECM "thinks" A/C is on.

What about air pressure? Failure of four way valve causes the same, no air pressure on fan solenoid valve

Temp cluster reads 150-170, the air pressure is normal, i checked fittings on air line near fan clutch to see if i am loosing air but all fine

I have had it happen due to a broken wire goin to the ac/heat blower.

I've had this happen many times on Freightliners and Peterbilts. Your losing major HP when that thing is running and when the temperature dips to 25 or below outside you will no longer have heat. BUT the good news it's a simple quick fix.
