Those Nissan's are known to have some truly terrible CVT transmissions. I'd have those serviced every 30k miles if I were you.

    BigR and bzinger Thank this.

Didn't they use those 300 straight 6's in a bunch of delivery vans also?

BigR, Oxbow and bzinger Thank this.

They were used in many platforms for Ford, along with a fair amount used in the industrial segment.

bzinger, cdavis188 and Oxbow Thank this.

So I hear, never had an issue with them to this point. Now we don't run them hard in any way so Im sure that helps. I recall Honda recently had major CVT issues but I think they've been addressed.

Ya jogged my memory a bit .
Until the retirement of p71 crown vic police spec in 2011 Ford pretty much ruled the fleet vehicle market from the late 70s to 2011 with gm and chrysler being minor players until the last few years .
Gm and chrysler never could touch the torque and reliability of ford's 300 6 .
The overall toughness of the crown vic in severe service will probably never be matched again .

Both my Lincoln's are crown vics underneath. I actually owned a retired P71 one time. Man that was so cool driving around in an old cop car

In traditional peelformance white. 240k miles and the drivetrain was still rock solid. The rest of the car not so much. Screenshot_20230813_211108_Facebook.jpg
