Ryan and I talked about this the other day and I said I would post it after I had the inverter installed and
Could get an accurate voltage reading on my batteries to calibrate the voltage on your carrier apu so you can set it to monitor the voltage with the truck off.
With your truck batteries fully charged and apu off with zero electrical load on the batteries , look at the voltage on your on your inverter screen ...it should be right around 13.5 volts .
Now scroll thru the apu menu until you find " calibrate voltage " and hit menu again .....use the arrows to enter the voltage shown on your inverter screen and hit menu again.
The voltage is now calibrated and the battery monitor should function as intended with the unit cycling on and off to keep the batteries charged.
Ps....you must turn on the battery monitor on the control panel for this to work ....when it is on a battery icon will come on in the upper left corner of the display and it won't come when the truck engine is running.
