Made it to the Emporia service area on the turnpike.

So instead of dropping in Topeka, dispatch is having me take it 75 miles right past the reciever to the ACT yard. Makes no sense to me but I never asked why that was the case. That stuff is above my pay grade.

Regardless, after I drop that in KCMO I will head down to Gardner, KS to pick up some beverages going to Lincoln, which I'll almost surely drop in CB.

I'll throw him an impromptu retirement party when I get to the ACT yard with any other drivers who show up. Gonna be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers

I hate the lack of work ethic and customer service in the world we live in today. After waiting 13 hours to try and get a trailer tire repaired at Love’s, I went in this morning to check the status. The technician on duty was too busy scrolling on his phone to actually do his job. He says “ you’ll have to wait for the next shift” me “yeah, because obviously you are swamped with work.”

I came on over to my delivery this morning, and when empty will take our business to an actual shop instead of a poorly run “shop” with supposed “technicians” who a month ago were probably saying “would you like fries with that?”

I've never been impressed with the "technicians" at Love's. One time the guy had to watch a youtube video of where the fuse box was on a Cascadia...where do they hire these people from?

Came over to Pomp’s tire service just down from the drop yard, in and out in an hour. Amazing how that works.
