If that's true then what's the point of spending the money putting APU's on these trucks? I usually have to idle half the time with these issues, which defeats the purpose of them.

I agree Chris! But it's all about the math and what's most cost effective for the fleet .
Werner and and Morehouse are running 2 year trade cycles now and idling the trucks with no apu ..I wouldn't buy one !! But it makes financial sence for them.

Awesome. Congrats of the decision to come to FCC and Welcome. You will find a lot of great folks here. Both at FCC, as you already did at orientation, and here on the thread.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask and someone will be able to help.

They were actually pretty quick the one time I was there. Startled me because I was still double checking their sign and making sure that I had done what they wanted.

Got yet another J&C load down to Garland. Dispatch is bobtailing me to Tractor Supply in Waverly for an empty since there's none here in Fremont.

    bzinger Thanks this.

Not to be a smart butt, but if you drop your bags, get under the trailer then raise it you’d avoid that mess and not have to place blame on the shop. That’s just my assumption based on a pic, I could be off base though.

Well, looks like Crete added an Upper Deck to the hill. Nice paved lot with concrete strips. A welcomed addition. It may have been there for a bit but first I touched or noticed it. But I don’t get here that often either.

I asked about that once. Shop said they expect you to lower your suspension until you are under the trailer, then raise it and hook. I suggested grease the bottom of the plate and push it forward and less likely to high hook. Nope.
