You should be dumping your air when you drop or back under a trailer anyway, easier on equipment.

Good, they've been working on that for awhile, used to be a dirt/gravel overflow lot. They've had it closed awhile working on that. Now if they could do something about that rest of that dump!!

Bad thing is even you remember to dump it the first time, the next time you still get grease on the catwalk. At least that's how it worked on mine, first two or three hooks afterward all left droppings. It really isn't necessary to coat it a quarter inch thick all the way to the front of the plate. I guess at least it won't be dry for a while.

Loaded trailers I do. Empty trailers I see no point. Just dolly down until the feet touch then turn it a couple more times.

Qualcomm still won't boot up. Been playing with it since Monday and no joy. So going to start off tomorrow with a live load in town then run to Omaha for a live unload. I think the plan after that is do not pass go, do not collect $200, and go directly to Fremont to get the Qualcomm, the APU, and the trailer maintenance done (the MT I picked up in Clayton was due beginning of June). So I am assuming Friday is not going to be a super productive day.
Had a surprise today. Daughter borrowed my car and then called 10 minutes later with a flat tire. Car unfortunately does not have a spare. Did a shoe leather road call. Tire had a decent leak, worse it had a crack in the sidewall that ran about halfway around. Tires were coming due by date so I was planning on replacing them before winter anyhow. She was very kind and paid for the tire and I paid for another so we had a matched pair side to side. Next time I'm home I'll take it back and get the other 2. She's going to be driving it for the next little bit until she gets settled in and I'll feel better with new tires on it.

Doesn't matter if its empty or not your gonna scrape your grease off if ya dont dump your air, and besides that if everyone dropped trailers the same way that'd be great, but it's all over the dam place here! Everything from landing gear 8" off the ground after you get under it to, it's so low it'll hit your tires and ya gotta get out and crank just to get under it. ( I pulled 5 different trailers yesterday alone, don't get me started). So I dump my air until my faceplate is under it regardless empty or loaded. Then inflate and let the truck lift it and ease back till she clicks, then tug. I've found if ya do the same thing every time it becomes habit, then you don't have to worry about forgetting when backing under a loaded one. I see so many drivers slam into these dam things hooking up and it just hurts my soul seeing equipment treated that way. Funny, if they had to pay for it, I bet they'd be a little more careful lol

If you look real close, there is concrete in the original lot for landing gear but it's hidden by 6,307,521 metric tons of crushed limestone rock powder.

Also get out and raise the trailer higher, it will fix the issue after a PM.

Holy Hanna! Just got loaded at Cerro in corothersville ind and headed 2 miles down to truckstop for the night .
Thought my truck seemed a little sluggish for a 42k load so looked a little closer at the bills and the load weighs 47800 .
I'll scale it in the morning but this may be a problem .
