Whatever the case, Matthew said not to put much thought into it unless it happens again. He said the shifter stalk on these PACCAR trucks have a tendency to break, but usually give some warning before doing so. Tried to research the issue on the only stuff I could come up with is the flashing CC meaning 'clutch calibration', so I'm leaning more towards the transmission just being a bit glitchy

 

My company has been trying to get more manuals, but they have not been able to from peterbilt been told supposedly 18 month wait

When I worked at New Century I had a T600 with an auto. Was on a hook more times that I can count because of that transmission. Kw told us which fuse to pull and wait 5 mins or so and put fuse back in. Tranny would shift fine after that.

Interacted with the lovely folks of the Kansas Highway Patrol earlier. Pulled into the Belleville scale house and they wanted to do an inspection. 40 minutes later and I'm rolling out with a clean level 1. I guess it pays to have well maintained equipment.

 

The inspector also commented that it's impressive that we have such a low DOT number
