I've noticed that this Paccar motor doesn't pull as well as the Detroit did in my Freightshaker. Thankfully I mostly stay in the plains with this thing.

    bzinger and rokue Thank this.

The paccar with a manual pulls better it's similar pulling to a Isx. The x15 Cummins pulls harder. Detroit pulls maybe a little better.

Thank YOU for serving on, and representing us, on this Board.

We do appreciate the time you invest in it (I know you don’t just show up for an occasional meeting) Thank you for helping move info from the Road to the Office and keeping us updated on what you learn there as well.

    Again, Thank You!!!

I’m liking this tidbit of info!!!

I think I’ve recently been to two of these three shippers (one is like 50 miles from home) and look forward to coming out to a SC/KS run then KCMO reload n roll.

    my day is complete. Thanks.

I am a FCC fan too. Don’t work there but I trust @runningman0661 and others on here. If I had to go full OTR again… they would be at the top of a very short list.
But alas… I want to be home more now… and this is my week :
Tuesday: Holly Springs NC to Louisville KY
    Wednesday: Deadhead back to NC
    Thursday:Holly Springs to Louisville
    Friday: Drive back to NC

will be hard to give up weeks like that. Drive 4 days spend only 2 nights in truck. Would make more at FCC but money ain’t everything…

We go to NC and ga alot so you would probably be home pretty often working at fcc. Two weeks out is the minimum out, but I stay out 3 weeks just stop by the house a few times.

    cdavis188 and ncmickey Thank this.

Where are those shippers located? Guy thought one of them was in Manning.

Some days that schedule would be very very tempting.

Manning is the one that’s close to home. Had one hell of a long wait there but hopefully that smooths out. I’d have to pull out paper to find the other one. I’m not old but my memory is.

If OTR as a company hand were in my future, FCC is the first company I’d call based on what I’ve absorbed here.
