It's governed to 75 already so that's nice. Getting fuel then going to try to get about as far as I can get tonight. Fuel was $3.85 down here in Texas with mudflap. Total expenses today today with fuel, batteries $1061.24.

Just some random thoughts
Was talking with friends and being a lease/owner operator popped up. I know from a financial perspective I would be successful at FCC but my issue is with the business side of things. I feel like taxes, maintenance, and everything else being an IC requires would just be too much stress that I don’t want to deal with. And anyways, if I wanted to do it, I would want to start with a new truck as a company driver and start a lease on it after it reaches whatever mileage FCC requires, if that would even be possible. Hopping into a lease truck that you know nothing about seems like a bad idea in my mind, because you don’t know how the previous driver(s) treated it. I’ve heard way too many horror stories about people leasing trucks that already have a couple wheels in the grave.IH9300SBA, MidWest_MacDaddy, rokue and 1 other person Thank this. -
I didn't feel like leasing I don't really want payments when I am trying to learn o/o so I paid cash. Plenty of tax write offs left. Anyway I will need to run this through a good detail and the refrigerator needs to be pulled out and repaired or replaced it's not working.

Sorry if I don’t make much sense. I’ve been up since 3:30 this morning so some brain fog is setting in.IH9300SBA, MidWest_MacDaddy, runningman0661 and 3 others Thank this. -
I’ve also been meaning to get a hold of Mike sometime and ask when they usually trade Peterbilts in. Another driver said the warranty is set up different than other trucks, but I’ve no idea if that statement has any merit or not.
-
They trade/sell when the warranty expires or before if truck is falling apart.
