Well, I didn’t have a plan this morning when I rolled out but then they all flooded in through the day.

Dropped as planned at 1500 in Columbia SC then had to really hustle down to the third of the three new SC to HD customers. This one is outside of a town in the middle of no where SC named Barnwell. (South of Columbia and East of Augusta) I mean no where… takes over an hour to even get to the closest Interstate. But at least they have on-site parking because there isn’t a Truck Stop or Rest Area anywhere close. LOL

Got there and while I was waiting to get loaded, I got my next load. So now I’m headed to HD Topeka (I might run into @runningman0661 there on Saturday) then back to the ACT Yard in KCMO to grab a load heading to Four Oaks after I grab a 34 at some point.

I think I’m liking this new guy.

 

Can't go o/o just yet. Ein is something I didn't know that I would need so have to wait awhile before I can get the 2290 that is needed. My truck will be sitting around at Fremont for a minute. I still need to take it to a detail shop to clean up what seems like animal or human vomit definitely looks like it had a dog in it before. It's in the area between the fridge and the bed.

They require it when you lease or become o/o a ein is required when you are opening your own business. Even though your leasing on.

I guess he’s been, more or less, running solo since his first day running his board by himself.

He’s doing a great job and doesn’t require much communication beyond the minimum and everything is flowing and wheels turning.

We’ve hit a couple small issues over the last few weeks but, in all fairness, not really his fault at all.

If the last three weeks has been any indication, I’ll have the best darn DM in the Fleet.

Now, this Driver needs to Step Up his Game again… LOL

 

Ok, so that’s just the Tax Number (vs SSN) not creating a company structure or something.

 

Looking good there. I hope she serves you well for many many years to come.
