FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Always wanted to attend the BalloonFest in Albuquerque… maybe one year I’ll ask for a load rolling to NM and take a week off and volunteer to crew or something.

 

Maybe have a few extra.
I’m feeling a bit thirsty too.

 

They held it in Columbia, MO for a few years, near my hometown, before moving it to ABQ and it was always fun seeing all the wild designs on some of them.

 

Yesterday was the first day this week that I didn’t drive for over 10 hours

 

I have kin in the Columbia area. Little town of Armstrong.

 

We gonna make a trucker outta that boy yet!!

 

I usually try to run 500-550 a day so I can usually recap instead of taking 34 resets often. There's another guy now here with a truck that looks like mine except with the aero stuff he's in 774 his is a little newer but not bad.

 

Waiting on a ride from the hotel now. Called down there this morning and was told truck wasn't Done and wouldn't be started on again till Monday!.. completely lost my God dam mind. Service advisor called back a couple minutes later and said she gave the the wrong info, was looking at a different FCC trucks paperwork!!!.. so mine’s back together at least, they were just supposed to run it and leak check then it's good. Hopefully I'm on the road soon

 

Might have to do that a day or two this week to keep from burning my 70 before I get home next weekend, gonna be weird for me. It's the exact opposite on a regional fleet or "homeboy fleet" as Brad calls it lol. With coming home each weekend, you need to fully utilize your 11 each day to be as productive as possible on this fleet.

 

Gonna have to get yourself a grill guard now to set yourself apart from that imposter! Lol
