    He's going to get one before I do I will just wait to see what style he gets before I do so I know to buy a different style lol. Also I need to gain some money first.

    I wouldn't want to chance it not knowing if they did it or not. It'll be a lot cheaper at FCC too, that's what I was planning on doing, but Detroit screwed those plans up, and no way I'm waiting around till Monday for that. So I paid these guys way to much to do it...... and now I'm here still waiting for em to do it!!!

    I'll call them Monday and get it added to the list. Ordering a new seat and a frame box for those chains to go in. The shop in Fremont is pretty short handed so I might get my service done always in cb. What is the part number for the seatbelts? I kind of want to change mine out as well.

    This is why if I choose to go the O/O route, I’ll go the route BigR took, get a new company truck, and lease it at 250k. That way I know that the truck has been serviced and maintained correctly.

    Forgive my ignorance but what do company’s mean by FSC (I think it’s fuel surcharge?) and how does it work?

    I'm so F'n pissed! I get in my truck and grease all over my floors and rug. Didn't even bother to put my shifter sleeve on. Then I pop the hood.. hummm... davo filter wasn't changed. I was very clearly told by Shane the extended warranty package included an oil change PM and all filters changed. So I go back in, dude says, oh, that doesn't include a full PM, so.. you guys didn't even change the oil, no we just top it off after fixing leaks... I'll be having a talk with FCC bout this Monday and heading back to Fremont after this NM load, this is BS! 20230930_112012.jpg 20230930_112009.jpg

    It is fuel surcharge, a per mile fee customers have to pay the carrier to ship their freight. The rate per mile is set each week based on the national average diesel prices. Most reputable carriers pass that along to o/o's or whoever pays for fuel. So you get your rate per mile then the fsc on the loaded miles.

    I wanted to do that, but don't want an automatic so I just took a risk with this truck so far an lucky that Penske does do maintenance, except the maintenance due at trade in. Shop told me they think it could have a oil leak or it was previously fixed so I have to see since it was steam cleaned by Penske. Also retreads will be needing to replace maybe in the spring.
