Don't let it discourage you though sometimes it happens that a job is done bad in places but other times you can get it solved. I bought one without a warranty though matt hidy is trying to ask if it's possible to extend my warranty I am not too worried generally speaking Detroit powered vehicles are generally easy to work on and cheap to fix and usually reliable. At least my research has shown thus far.

Going good thing to do is an owner operator. Yes be able to find out reliable mechanic near home that you can depend on to use on a regular basis… Now, of course there’s always the possibility stuck having to use a mechanic somewhere else but I know many folks like to try to find one near home they can trust on a regular basis

So this is where I will get my apu $3500 used with $500 Install I think it's not bad. Need 34" frame space which my truck has.Speed_Drums and BigR Thank this. -
Well, changed all fuel filters, so that's outta the way at least, but it's running worse than ever. #3 cylinder injector misfire. Sooo... I'm at a Detroit authorized shop in Albuquerque waiting to get in. Said they should be able to get to me this afternoon, so fingers crossed Hopefully I'll be rolling this evening.... Omaha Detroit had the cam out fixing leaks, so their thinking maybe they pinched a wire or messed something up... Dude at the Omaha shop bent over backwards apologizing to shane, says they will make this right, I guess they are offering to change the oil for free at Detroit now, I've already paid for the fuel filters so they don't have to worry about them lol... gotta go to FCC anyhow, so we'll see what happens when I get up there. Main thing is being able to get outta NM now.
