After dropping my load in Belton this afternoon, I swung back by Emporia to grab a trailer that I brought home. Pulled into town a little after 9 pm. About to fall asleep on the couch. It’s been a long day

 

Wound up being just a hair over 7 hours before I was loaded and out of the shipper. Bad Penny decided to act up again. Coolant level sensor is dying so I have that bypassed. So I am almost certainly grabbing something to take to CB or Fremont after I deliver this.

 

Anyone going to menards in plano Ill listen up .
Us 34 and hwy 23 North is completely closed 17 miles east of I 39 ....use us 30 , I 80 or 88 to get to plano .
There is no legal detour between I 39 and the closure so if you try it you will be turning around and going 17 miles back to I 39.....dont ask how I know this lol.

 

So I stopped at a Sheetz last night outside Springfield OH that had several Diesel Lanes and a number of parking spots. All brand new.

Every parking spot had like 5+ feet of space on each side of the Truck. Was a welcomed sight at the end of a long day.

 

Was wishing that land sold to loves over there where they are going to build a buccees but any parking we get is better than none.

 

Was very recently reminded what caused me to make a phone call, one simple phone call, over three years ago…

best call I’ve made
