Was a good run to NJ and yesterday was a beautiful day drive in the NE with all the color changes in the leaves. I didn’t see it the day before as I was running up there into the night. One of those, ya it’s occasionally nice to be a driver in different parts of the country during different times of the year.
They someone here goes and mentions 2-3” of snow in Omaha and pops that feel good bubble.
but it was a great two day (687 & 650) run back to CB over the weekend. Shop visit in the morning and then head to BD in Columbus NE to drop this trailer and see what next week brings.

Gotta love LA. Left a little before 4 this morning and it took 3 hours and 8 minutes to cover 118 miles. On the upside was able to sneak in 3 hours early for my pickup appointment. Of course I’ve been in the door an hour with no motion in the ocean so you win some, you lose some. My bonus goal is to get at least 2 hours in the sleeper so I can split break and start earlier tomorrow.

Finally pulled into town with a buck and a half left on my 70. 3400 miles driven according to trip odometer. I have a J&C load that has yet to be an appointment made. I won’t worry about that until tomorrow or until dispatch bugs me though, I’m ready to test out that $1500 couch my roommate and I got on Saturday.

If anyone needs some cheap throw away tools, Loves is selling out their Road Pro Tools on the cheap. They are being replaced with their in house brand called Amarillo. I grabbed several that I needed and many that I didn’t need and now don’t care if they break in use or not.
rokue, supersnackbar, BigR and 3 others Thank this. -
Good to know. Anyway I think if I ever have to change the clutch on this truck I will get a 13 speed reman so I can get better mileage the current way it's geared is for performance vs fuel economy.

I wasn't thinking of a 18 speed that's too many gears.
dwells40 Thanks this.
