I wouldn’t buy a used truck, but prices have definitely normalized compared to 12/18 months ago when equipment was selling for twice what it was really worth.

Do independent contractors for FCC get detention pay, and if so, after how many hours of waiting does it start?

I remember seeing that you actually got a decent chunk of change for the truck you leased from FCC when you sold it even though it had 800k something miles

Just make sure you write your times on the bills, same process as with company drivers

Wind is straight out of the north out here along 56. Stopped in Boise City and the weather report says winds at 25 mph gusting to 40+, however they were forecasting gusts up to 55 around this area. Even with 45k pounds in the box, it was a bear to keep my truck in my own lane. Hopefully the wind will let up when I get going again tomorrow morning.

    rokue Thanks this.

Hopefully the prices stabilize and don't drop to much more

I was getting blown around down in Georgia winds blowing from the north southwest whipping pretty good. Not sure if that wind is related or not. Side note loves fuel $3.14 a gallon down here.
